"USISU" is a stool made from thin wood using traditional wood-frame techniques. It can be carried to various places and used for sitting or as a flower stand. We focused on its compact size and lightness, making it easy to handle. The material is cypress from Kyoto. We wanted you to experience the soft white feel of cypress, so we left the finish unpainted. Using cypress, a representative timber resource in Japan, we aimed to create a stool that can be used casually in everyday life.
